Jasmine got her first tooth a few days ago! Natalie’s first tooth didn’t arrive until just before her 1st birthday, so Jasmine continues to be quite different from her sister. From the looks of things, there may be another on the way too.

This morning Christina and Natalie took a tour of Natalie’s new preschool. She will be starting there in the Fall, and really seemed to like it. It’s hard to believe that she is going to be starting school already.

We just finished the first week of swimming lessons with the girls. It’s a lot of fun and we were really excited to find that they frequently merge the two classes (Starfish and Duck), so the girls get to swim together. Both of the girls love the water and are natural swimmers.

Wow… They are growing up so fast.

Natalie has been fascinated with our cameras from a fairly young age, and always loves to see the pictures on the camera after we take them. While in Kelowna, Uncle Scot let her play with his camera and she got lots of practice in. Today she took a number of photos of us and some of them were quite good.

The girls spent the last week in Kelowna with Christina’s family. Unfortunately I had to work, so I missed out on great time. They were snowed in for the first few days, but that didn’t bother them one bit. Christina’s parents have lots of space to play and they enjoyed playing Taboo, watching movies, happy hour, and lots of excellent food. When the snow did let up they ventured into town for some shopping and lunch with old friends. Christina’s grandma was able to come out from Kamloops for a few days and celebrated her birthday with the family. Natalie and Jasmine were both great on the flight, and was so used to the service that she was already asking the flight attendants for water shortly after boarding. She really enjoyed watching Tree House and eating Auntie Amy’s blue Smarties on the plane.
