It’s hard to believe it has been six months since Jasmine was born. She celebrated her 6 month birthday. Today she rolled over from her back to her front for the first time… and then again and again. I guess it just clicked.

Today after work we took the girls and Auntie Amy to the Bonsor pool. It was Jasmine’s first time swimming and she loved it. Natalie was very excited to go and had a great time tracking down all the toys in the pool and collecting them into a pile. We were glad to see they both enjoyed it as they start swimming lessons in February.

We had a quiet New Year’s Eve this year with our neighbours Keith and Amanda. We had a great evening visiting, but the highlight was definitely the potluck sundaes! We had all kinds of great goodies to pile on our ice cream including brownies, M&Ms, chocolate sprinkles, caramel sauce, and lots more.

Natalie went to her first movie in a theatre last week with Christina. She was very excited and they enjoyed candy and popcorn as well. They went to Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa, and both enjoyed it. It was nice for the two of them to have some quality time together.

Tonight Jasmine started solid foods — rice cereal.  She did a great job and even had a few extra helpings.  We’re very proud of her and hope that eating continues to go well.  She has also been sitting by herself very well and continues to be so chompy and drooly that we wonder if teeth are coming soon.
