Thanksgiving ’08

2008-10-13 10.32.08.jpgFall made a dramatic entry this year. Our family welcomed October by being sick for two weeks. The flu started and ended with Natalie, and hit all of us to varying degrees. Poor Natalie was the hardest hit, and spent many of her days watching movies and attempting to keep what little food she ate down.

We spent this Thanksgiving in Kelowna with Christina’s family. It was a great visit and the first time Jasmine got to meet Christina’s grandparents and brother. As expected, Natalie spent a good deal of the time visiting with the dogs, and the rest of the time talking about them. We celebrated Thanksgiving on Saturday with a wonderful feast and three special guests, the Ribeiro’s. On Sunday we visited the McMillan Pumpkin Patch where we explored the many varieties of pumpkins and enjoyed a hayride together. We returned home on Monday, and we were very thankful that the roads to and from Kelowna were snow-free.

She can come and play with our hounds anytime!! It is MUCH easier to have a nice visit with them than to have your own!! Trust me!! ;)

Glad you had a nice thanksgiving. We had tocco’s for dinner if you can believe that but we were in Maui so I can’t complain and we did have punkin pie for dessert. Neufelds
