Christina and I are happy to announce that we are pregnant. The baby is due August 11, 2008, which puts us about 14 weeks along. Christina has been fairly nauseous up to now, and is really hoping it will settle down soon as it did in the 2nd trimester with Natalie. Her food aversions aren’t as bad this time, although coffee is certainly out again.  She also seems to be craving oranges and pop again, but not as much as last time. We’re really excited to see how Natalie responds to Christina’s pregnancy and the arrival of a new sister or brother.

We’ve been pretty bad at updating the blog lately. Here is a quick recap of the last few months:

We had a lot of fun at my work’s Kid’s Christmas party. Natalie got decorate a gingerbread man, sit on Santa’s lap, and have lots of tasty food. She was old enough to get into it this year and it was a lot of fun for all of us.

We spent Christmas in Comox with my parents. Unfortunately my brother and his wife couldn’t make it, but they had a good excuse… They just had a new baby! Welcome to world Teagan Emrys Mitchell. We stopped in Victoria on our way to Comox, and visited them. It was great to meet my new Nephew.

January was a very busy month. We had lots of snow in Burnaby and Natalie really enjoyed playing in it. Natalie is learning new words everyday and it feels like we can really communicate with her. Lately she enjoys dancing, playing the piano, pretending to cook, and singing. She has also gotten attached to her doll and blanket and carries them all over them house.
