A lot has been happening with Natalie lately. I’ll start with the most recent. She had her latest doctor’s appointment and she weighed 16 lbs 2 oz, and was 28 inches tall. According to the growth charts that puts her roughly around 90th percentile for height and something like 30th percentile for weight. Basically we have a tall skinny baby… Yeah, we’re kinda shocked too. ;)
Natalie has started to crawl in the last few days. It’s more of the inch-worm style, but she gets where she wants to. I’m still in shock about how emotional I got when I saw her crawl. I must say that I’m very proud. Also, given how quickly she is picking it up I think we finally have to start baby-proofing our house.
We took Natalie to the park near our house the other night and put her on the swing and slide for the first time. She had a great time and we snapped lots of pics. Any excuse to bring out the camera!
Christina continues to introduce new foods to Natalie, but it seems to be hit and miss. Her tastes are broadening more and she can even feed herself Cheerios!
Natalie and I have have been enjoying her swimming lessons lately. She’s been going for several weeks now on Tuesdays and Thursdays after my work. She has really taken to it and just loves the water.
