We’ve recently started putting Natalie in her highchair so she can sit at the table while we’re eating. She seems to be enjoying herself… :)

At her last weigh-in from two weeks ago, Natalie was 10 lbs 4 ozs. Her neck support is getting much better and she can pretty much keep it up by herself these days. She is smiling all the time now too and smiles in response to people much more. We’re really enjoying that. Natalie has recently outgrown some of her clothes. This was mildly upsetting and resulted in us uttering many cliches like “our baby is growing up”, etc. :) It also prompted Christina to reorganize Natalie’s clothes by size.

We’ve started putting Natalie to bed earlier and are enjoying having some of the evenings free. We even managed to watch the remaining 4 episodes of 24: Season Two.

The cold season has arrived and hit Christina fairly hard a few days ago. Natalie was a little congested, but both of them seem much better today. I guess my turn is next.

I’ve uploaded a few of the pictures from our long-weekend in Comox. I really enjoyed being able to relax, hang around outside and spend some time taking pictures. We went to a new (to me anyway) gelato place in Comox, walked around the Seal Bay nature park and the Comox Marina, and just lazed about in my parents yard. We also had a nice visit with Natalie’s great-grandpa Macpherson and Cathy in Qualicum on our way home.

Christina had her midwife appointment yesterday and weighed Natalie again. She’s now 9 lbs 11 ozs. Wow. I guess we don’t need to worry about her not gaining weight.

We’re off to visit my parents for the Labour Day long-weekend and relax in Comox. We’re bringing the camera so hopefully I will have some new shots of Natalie to upload.
